Guide to Northside Park in Gainesville, Florida

Northside Park is home to Gainesville's only public disc golf course. The Gainesville disc golf course has 18 holes with professional and amateur teepads made of cement. The course is well laid out and requires a variety of shots. All holes are considered par 3, but a couple of them (#16 and #18) require long drives to reach the basket in 3.

There is one other disc golf course in Gainesville at Lake Wauburg, but it is privately owned by the University of Florida, is located about 20 minutes south of town, and requires a student ID to get into. There is no official Gainesville disc golf club, but there is a small student disc golf club and regular organized play at Northside Park.

Northside Park also has four lighted tennis courts, racquetball courts, a playground, two pavilions, and bathrooms. You can usually find at least a few people at the park at all times throughout the day and evening.
